(detail)
This is a series of artistic desk pieces commemorating and symbolizing the life and work of Henry Halladay, hence the name of collection. The above designs were created by some of the finest designers and artists in the industry. To be sure, though, this moment is about Dr. Halladay alone, and his steady, but determined ascent through the ranks of the Boeing Company all the way through his 2008 retirement. The collection also captures Henry's education and various memberships over the years.
The Life & Work of Henry Halladay is presented chronologically, as it should be; as it was envisioned. Feel free to lose yourself in the beauty of the art, the mixed media used in the creation of each piece, and the freedom to interpret each piece in your own way.
Enjoy these exclusive images of the 2007 piece. It is a particularly unique creation, handcrafted from solid marble and mahogany. It is a mixed media masterpiece set to enhance Henry's awards series in a big way. Featuring an 18-inch wingspan and a 22.6 lb. marble base.
This section is devoted to Henry Halladay's personal media captures of this unique and exciting awards series. As "The Life & Work of Henry Halladay" collection continues to grow, this section will be updated regularly to reflect Henry's interesting set-ups, lighting arrangements, and overall life with these pieces.
